This body of watercolor paintings, collages and drawings was originally developed to accompany a sculpture of the whaling ship Endurance and the Polarized Heads series. These works look to seafaring, ice, and flotsam as a way to explore abstraction and alienation. They are made with watercolor, paper, and wood veneer.
